When we designed the first MGE-40Blue prototype, we checked that the meter leaked AdBlue/DEF, it went into the facing plate and the meter electronics rusted. Then we designed the current model where the electronics is totally sealed. A “mad” engineer submerged the meter in AdBlue for several weeks and another one submerged under 8 m in sea water in the Tarragona's harbour in order to show there is a simple and highly-effective solution.
